Parent Reviews
ESTIA has fantastic ballet classes; my daughter adores her teacher and takes as many as she can. Great personalized corrections and fun music too!
Parent Review
Lydia is equally concerned about the mental and emotional growth and health of her students. Dance is not just an activity or hobby for her students, it’s an art form and a way of life.
Parent Review
ESTIA was exactly what we needed. We had a big audition coming up that my daughter was very apprehensive and nervous about. The teacher helped point out all her positives and gave her great insight to what Judges will look for and expect. It gave my daughter a huge boost of confidence that paid off! 100% would recommend.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
-
Our teachers are working professional dancers who genuinely love teaching young movers. Classes stay small so your child is never just another face in the room. We have also removed all the extra costs that come with traditional dance training — no recital fees, no costume purchases, just consistent weekly classes and a free end-of-season showcase where families come in to watch what their child has been building.
-
We offer Ballet at all levels and Contemporary/Modern at Levels 2, 3 and 4.
-
Our kids dance memberships cover one class per week at your child's enrolled level. This consistent weekly commitment is what builds technique and confidence over time. For students looking for additional development, private sessions are available as a separate add-on. After age 7 we generally recommend training at least twice a week for faster progress, and after age 9 students aiming for a pre-professional level benefit from three to four sessions per week across different styles.
-
Consistency is the most important factor. Showing up every week and building on what they learned the session before is what drives real growth. For students who want more focused development, private sessions offer the opportunity to refine technique, work through specific challenges, prepare audition material, and build a personalized training plan.
WHAT TO EXPECT
-
Ballet: leotard or form-fitted clothes, tights, ballet slippers or non-slip socks, and a water bottle.
Contemporary: comfortable moveable clothes, socks or bare feet, and a water bottle.
Hair should be pulled back and away from the face. No tap shoes or pointe shoes unless specifically approved by the instructor.
-
Ballet slippers are soft, flexible shoes designed for movement at the barre and in the center. They are recommended but not required. Any brand works for our classes. Pointe shoes are only used by advanced students when specifically approved by the instructor. We do not use tap shoes in any of our programming.
-
Please arrive 5 minutes before class starts. There is a 5-minute grace period after class begins, but after that your child may not be admitted in order to protect the warmup and safety of all students.
-
Our classes run in a drop-off format to ensure a focused and comfortable environment for all of our young dancers. For families joining us for the first time, one parent or guardian is welcome to stay in the studio during their child's very first class. After that first class we ask that all adults wait outside.
To protect the privacy and comfort of all students, photos and videos are not permitted during class. Once class wraps up, you are welcome to take a photo of your own child. Please make sure no other students appear in the frame.

ENROLLMENT & POLICIES
-
All enrollments are managed through WellnessLiving, our studio platform. To get started, create your account at wellnessliving.com/signup/estia on your phone or computer, then download the WellnessLiving Achieve app. Once your account is set up, add your child as a relationship under your profile so you can manage their classes and membership from your own account. For help getting set up, email us at info@estiahouseofmovement.com.
-
Yes. Kids Dance Memberships launch in July 2026 and are available on a monthly basis for students ages 3 through 18. Membership covers one class per week at your child's enrolled level. Monthly rates start at $90 per month for Levels 1 and 2 and $110 per month for Levels 3 and 4. Single drop-in classes are also available. Visit our Kids Dance page for full pricing and enrollment details.
-
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If your child cannot make it to class, please cancel through the WellnessLiving app at least 24 hours before the session starts. Cancellations made inside that window are forfeited. Kids memberships do not include rollover sessions or makeup classes — each week is its own opportunity to show up and build on what they have learned. Level 3 and 4 students have a one-time style swap option available once per month if they miss a Thursday class. See our Kids Membership Agreement for full details.
-
Class reservations must be made at least 15 minutes before the session starts. Spots are not guaranteed without a membership so we recommend enrolling in a monthly membership to hold your child's spot each week.

At ESTIA we work to keep dance accessible and affordable, which means cutting out the extra costs that come with traditional recital culture. Instead, at the end of each season we host a free in-studio showcase where students perform the work they have been building together. No costume fees, no ticket costs, and no added charges. Families are invited in to watch and celebrate what their child has accomplished.
-
