After School Dance Program
At ESTIA, after school is the best part of your child's day. Two dance classes, a small group of peers, and teachers who are working professional dancers. We handle the pickup from school so you can handle everything else.
Your child is walked from school, one block from our studio, directly to ESTIA. From there, they spend three hours in Ballet and Modern/Contemporary dance with teachers who genuinely care about what they are learning and who they are becoming.
Groups are capped at 10 students so every child is seen, encouraged, and developed as an individual.
We currently offer school pickup from Brooklyn Arbor, P.S. 018 Edward Bush, and P.S. 132 The Conselyea School. If your child attends a different nearby school, reach out and we will let you know when your school is included.

Drop-off families are welcome anytime between 2:30 and 3:30pm. Class begins at 3:30pm. Students on school pickup arrive with our team in time for the full routine.

December 19th, 3pm In-Studio Showcase!
Both After School classes will be invited to participate in an end-of-session showcase! Families and caregivers are invited to see what we've been working on each week as students share their progress through dance. The showcase will also feature a few dances performed by the students, creating a fun afternoon of celebration, creativity, and community.

From school to studio, we have it covered.
Our team meets students at dismissal and walks them to the studio, one block away. Students arrive in time for a snack, a few minutes to settle in, and community time before class begins at 3:30pm.

Early dismissal?
Some schools release students earlier than the standard 2:45pm dismissal time. If your child's class lets out before then, email us at info@estiahouseofmovement.com and we will work out pickup accommodations with you.
Scholarship Opportunities
We believe every child deserves the chance to experience the joy, confidence, and community that dance builds, and that finances should never be the reason a child misses out. For Fall 2026, ESTIA is offering two full scholarships for our After School Program, one for our Wednesday group and one for our Thursday group.
These scholarships are fully funded by ESTIA as part of our ongoing commitment to making dance more accessible for families in our community.

Each group in our After School Program is capped at 10 students. Families on our interest list are the first to hear when enrollment opens and have the opportunity to secure their spot before we open to the public.

Program Basics

Enrollment opens each season and spots fill quickly. To get started, create your account at wellnessliving.com/signup/estia and download the WellnessLiving Achieve app. When enrollment is open, you can select your child's program day and add school pickup directly at checkout. Payment is split into equal monthly installments for the season so there is no large upfront cost.

For Ballet: form-fitted clothes or a leotard, tights, ballet shoes or non-slip socks, and a water bottle.
For Contemporary: comfortable clothes, socks or bare feet, and a water bottle. Hair should be pulled back. Pack a snack from home, they will be hungry when they arrive.

Yes. We close every season by opening our doors to families for an in-studio showing of the work the students have learned together. Each student gets the opportunity to craft their costume in class and present practiced dance works plus a ballet barre. Families are invited in to watch. There is nothing to purchase and nothing to prepare for.
Logistics

Drop-off is open between 2:30 and 3:30pm. Class begins promptly at 3:30pm. Students on pickup will arrive with our team in time for the full routine.

Parent pickup is flexible between 5:00 and 5:30pm. Students cool down, change and spend time with classmates while they wait.

Each group is capped at 10 students. This is intentional. Small groups mean more individual attention, stronger technique, and a tighter community.

We do not offer refunds for mid-season withdrawals. Medical emergencies or relocation are handled on a case by case basis. Please reach out to us directly at info@estiahouseofmovement.com. If you would like to get a feel for ESTIA before committing to the program, we recommend booking a drop-in dance class first so your child can meet the teachers and experience the studio before enrolling.
