Wednesdays: Pre-K & Kindergarten
Thursdays: Grades 1, 2 & 3
Enrollment is still open!
We are thrilled to introduce our After School Program including Ballet & Modern/Contemporary Dance Classes (starting at pre-K all the way through Grade 3).
In this program we will work on dance technique, developing our creativity while cultivating community. Each program will culminate with a performance for friends and family!
Our program is split in two parts (WINTER & SPRING) so families can get to know us without committing for the full semester.
We will also be offering it in the Fall 2026, more details coming soon!

Why Families Love this Program
We center learning and joy rather than pressure, over-preparation, or expensive recital culture. Young dancers learn real technique in intimate groups, building confidence, body awareness, skill, and creative curiosity without the distractions or costs of performance-focused programs.
Our After School Programs provide fun environment for your kids with the added bonus of seeing them grow in their end of class performance! ESTIA also provides diverse offerings for both you AND your kids all in one location!

Program Basics
-
At ESTIA, all of our teachers are working professional dancers who are actively performing, choreographing, and contributing to the dance community. We believe that we are all lifelong students, and that philosophy is reflected in our faculty’s approach to teaching and learning.
We also strive to create welcoming and empowering spaces that both challenge and inspire our movers. Our classes emphasize commitment, curiosity, and joy, helping each student grow not only as a dancer but as an artist and individual.

The students will perform in cumulative Ballet & Contemporary/Modern style dances. This gives you a chance to see what your children have been working on with no added costs.
Logistics
-
Because dismissal times vary by school, we’ve created a flexible drop-off window from 2:30–3:30pm. You can bring your child at any point during this hour. During this time, students will have the chance to change into their dance clothes, enjoy a quick snack (brought from home), and take part in community-building activities. Ballet class starts promptly at 3:30pm.
For children being picked up directly from Brooklyn Arbor, the ESTIA team will meet them at school at dismissal and walk them over to the studio. They will follow the same routine—time for a quick snack (brought from home), changing, and settling in before class starts.
-
At ESTIA, we aim to offer flexibility for busy families. Pick-up is available anytime between 5:00–5:30pm. During this window, students will take part in a cool down, change and gather their things, and have time to socialize with classmates while they wait to be picked up.
-
Each age group is capped at 10 students per class. This small class size allows us to provide individualized attention and create an intimate learning environment that supports strong community building. Our focus is on truly developing dance technique—not just offering another extracurricular activity.
-
You can purchase ballet slippers (recommended but not required) to wear in our classes. Here is an example but any brand works for us.
Pointe shoes are only used by advanced students. Please do not use them unless specifically approved by your instructor.
-
Yes we offer privates to students of all ages, see our availability here!
-
No refunds for any of our programming. If you’d like to see if ESTIA will be the right fit for your child before committing to our After School Program consider taking one of our Drop In dance classes so we can get the chance to meet each other :)
